Maggot Stew

This is a recipe that my mother makes every year around Halloween when we together for a family dinner evening.It's not a traditional gravy stew ... it's almost like an Italian soup. it can be made in advance and warmed in a crock pot or even frozen in individual western part and warmed in the microwave. "maggots ' give a 'ewww ' factor that kids love! my cousin that nothing but chicken nuggets and keeps eating French fries, so it always for Halloween dinner created!
